I Miss You My Friend

It was merely 2 months ago that my dear friend Jill Hamilton was diagnosed with several cancers, including brain, adrenal, lung and liver.  I rushed to Reno to be by her side and was able to get her home with the help of Hospice.  We spent many hours speaking about her situation, and her death; or as I like to think of it, her transcendence.  When I asked Jill how she wanted to be remembered, she stated that she wanted to be remembered as someone who affected people's lives.  For those of you that knew her; this was assured.  She was not concerned if her presence was perceived as negative or positive; she wanted to move people to action.  She stirred up people's lives and welcomed the challenge.  She was also an amazing astrologer, and had a gift of "reading" people and the desire to make this world a better place.  She wanted to share the light of her love with the whole world and would often say goodbye followed by "keep white light around you".  Her last few years were filled with many trials and tribulations, but she always had a shoulder for a friend in need.  The biggest light in her life was her grandson Rocco; a beautiful legacy that will live on.  She did not have wealth, but her value was immense and she would give her last precious dollar to someone in need.  I find comfort in knowing that my dearest friend will no longer suffer.  That she will be omnipresent and her love and light will live on forever.
